Don’t let the door hit you on the way out, Art Howe is rumored to be fired after the last day of the season. Howe is rumored to be a nice man (and I have no reason to think otherwise) but, after suffering fthrough the last two seasons of watching him manage the Mets it can’t happen soon enough. Admittedly, the team he was handed was hampered by injuries throughout the course of this season but, it’s been painful to watch the Mets and some of his moves have left quite a number of Mets fans scratching their heads trying to figure out what he was hoping to accomplish (winning games certainly wasn’t the goal).

Now, if the Wilpons could just swallow their pride and get Bobby V back, he never should have been fired in the first place!
